This whipped delight serves as a replacement for high-fat dips. Serve it with chips or crackers, on veggie trays, as a spread on toast, in pasta dishes, or swap out the herbs and garlic for honey and cinnamon for a fruit dip!

2 16-ounce containers low-fat cottage cheese
¼ cup fresh chives, chopped
¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
¼ cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
Black pepper to taste

Before you begin: Wash your hands.

  1. Combine cheese, chives, basil, parsley, garlic and lemon juice and mix well.
  2. Add black pepper to taste.
  3. Serve.
