Tuna-Apple Sandwich Recipe

Crisp apple chunks add an extra crunch to these classic tuna salad sandwiches. They're easy to make and sure to please!

Ingredients

1 (5- or 6-ounce) can tuna, packed in water
1 small apple, peeled and sliced in chunks
1 tablespoon light mayonnaise
6 slices whole-wheat sandwich bread

Directions

Before you begin: Wash your hands.

  1. In small bowl, combine tuna, apple chunks and mayonnaise.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Spread mixture on slice of bread and top with another slice. Repeat with remaining bread.
