Melanie has experience in hospitals, skilled and long term care nursing homes, dialysis centers, rehab units, physicians’ offices, GI clinics, and fitness / wellness centers. While working with fitness center members, she discovered her true passion for wellness and weight management education. Today, she owns a outpatient nutrition consulting private practice called, Toledo Dietitian LLC, that serves the greater Toledo area and southeastern Michigan. Virtually, she can also work with clients located anywhere in Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. Toledo, Dietitian LLC offers nutrition education, nutrition counseling, and health coaching to the ages 16 yrs+ with the goal to help educate clients on how to make their own confident positive decisions regarding weight management, healthy eating, work / life balance, and treatment / prevention of diet related medical conditions. Melanie doesn't want clients to be afraid to meet with her out of concern for shaming or that she might be the "diet police". Nutrition counseling is quite the opposite. I am here to be your educator, coach, health advocate, and/or cheerleader. Melanie is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Weight Management Dietetics Practice Group, Nutrition Entrepreneurs Dietetic Practice Group, Northwest Ohio Dietetic Association, and the Sylvania Chamber of Commerce.
