Hi, I'm Eloise, a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist (RDN) and Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) working in Honolulu for Adventist Health Castle (AHC) in the Ekahi Wellness Center near Downtown Honolulu. I have spent the last 8.5 years working as a dietitian in Hawaii mostly with adults seeking to better control their blood sugar, blood pressure or weight through lifestyle changes. I've worked with both the Queens Comprehensive Weight Management Clinic and the Hawaii Center for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeries at AHC assisting people interested in bariatric surgery. Back in 2014, I moved to Hawaii from Baltimore, Maryland where I spent almost 7 years working at Johns Hopkins Hospital as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Nutrition Support Clinician. My belief is that everyone needs an individualized approach to nutrition, not only for personal biological differences and different outcome goals, but most importantly because what we eat is more than just nutrition - it's a huge part of our lives!
