What This Means
This generic error can appear for several reasons:
- a typo in the URL or a URL with illegal characters
- corrupted browser files or problems with expired browser cookies
- locally stored DNS data doesn’t match registered DNS information
- a server glitch or other temporary server issue
What You Can Try
There are a couple things you can try:
- Double-check the URL for typos, missing info or illegal characters (commas, tildas, etc.)
- Clear your browser cache
- Clear your browser cookies
- Clear your DNS cache for Windows or maxOS
- Deactivate browser extensions (especially those that affect cookies)
