February 14 Deadline: Sylvia Rowe Fellowship

The International Food Information Council Foundation is accepting applications for its annual Sylvia Rowe Fellowship. The fellowship seeks promising nutrition and food safety communicators to help enhance their capabilities. The application deadline is February 14.

The purpose of this award is to develop the recipient’s skills in communicating nutrition and food safety information to the public in an academic setting, professional situation or other public venues.

The recipient will be awarded an eight-to-12-week paid internship at the International Food Information Council Foundation offices in Washington, D.C. Prospective applicants must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within 12 months from the time of application) from a university undergraduate or graduate program in nutrition, food safety, and/or journalism/communications. (Graduate students or recent graduates are preferred.) Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
