WIC Research Funding

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Center for Collaborative Research on WIC Nutrition Education Innovations at the USDA/ARS Children's Nutrition Research Center at Baylor College of Medicine announces a second round of funding for researcher-initiated projects to demonstrate creative approaches to nutrition education for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).

The CNRC WIC Center is funded by the USDA Food and Nutrition Service. University-based researchers, with state/local WIC collaborators, are eligible to respond.

Grants will be funded for up to two years and require a partnership between a university-based researcher and a state or local WIC program. A letter of intent is due on December 18. Complete applications are due January 29, 2014.
