Grant Opportunities to Fight Childhood Obesity

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is making $1.6 million in healthy eating research grants available to improve health through nutrition and physical activity.

These funds are available for large-scale changes (such as at state and federal levels) and smaller, organization-level changes (such as in in schools, recreational programs, child-care settings and hospitals). There will be opportunities to expand projects if initiatives demonstrate positive outcomes.
