Support for Foundation Will Be Matched

Academy Partner and Kids Eat Right Supporter the National Dairy Council® will match member contributions up to $20,000 to the Foundation in December.

Last year, donors' generosity helped the Foundation award scholarship to 213 students totaling $452,150; expand the Kids Eat Right initiative to 3,100 campaign volunteers; provide more than $112,150 in awards and fellowships; and award $176,000 in research grants.

I am passionate about the dietetics profession, its members and the work we do. By giving to the Foundation, I help fund dietetics education, research and public education initiatives that influence the growth of the profession, promotion of the registered dietitian and dissemination of science-based nutrition information.
– Neva Cochran, MS, RD, LD

Support for the Annual Fund will enable the Foundation to continue to provide scholarships, research grants, continuing education awards and innovative educational programs through the Kids Eat Right initiative. The Foundation needs your help to reach our goal of raising $50,000 in December.

Charity Navigator, America's largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities, has bestowed the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation with the coveted 4-star rating for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency.
