IDNT Submissions Due March 31

In 2014, the Academy will publish the next edition of the International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology Reference Manual. Submissions for changes or additions are due by March 31, 2013.

Countries or organizations, in the U.S. and internationally, need not submit as a group (e.g., country, practice or other); individual submissions are welcome. Further, group submissions do not need unanimous support; majority and minority opinions may accompany the submission. The Nutrition Care Process/Standardized Language (NCP/SL) Committee will review submissions between April and December 2013.

The Procedure to Submit Changes to the NCP Vocabulary details the necessary components of a submission. Submissions and questions can be directed to Donna Pertel.

The current IDNT (4th ed.) debuted last August.
