The summit, to be held at the Renaissance Arlington Capital View, will explore connections between physical activity and nutrition on the one hand and learning and behavior on the other. It is designed to encourage comprehensive efforts to address childhood obesity in the school environment.

Summit speakers and attendees will include leaders in education, health and nutrition, fitness, academia, government, policy and the corporate/philanthropic sector. The summit is being produced by the GENYOUth Foundation in partnership with the National Dairy Council, National Football League, American College of Sports Medicine and American School Health Association.
