Is Your State On the Move?

As the Academy's Let's Move! coordinators continue to champion initiatives among affiliates, a new project is under way that seeks a commitment from additional cities, towns and counties across the U.S.

Let's Move! coordinators will be paving the way for meetings with mayors and securing increased signups for Let's Move Cities and Towns in a grassroots effort designed to connect registered dietitians to local obesity initiatives.

Local leaders and community organizations are ready to work with RDs to develop a plan of action that will be implemented by mayors and officials committed to making a difference. Contact Juliana Smith to become a part of the Let's Move! team in your state.
