New Home Food Safety Highway Billboard

Highway billboards that spotlight the Academy's and ConAgra's Home Food Safety program are up in four U.S. cities, educating consumers on leftovers and restaurant takeout safety.

The four billboards are expected to receive a total of more than 38.4 million views. They will be up until mid-July at the following locations:

  • Chicago: I-57 at 140th Street
  • Los Angeles: Crenshaw Boulevard north of 59th Street
  • Philadelphia: Schuylkill Expressway (I-56) between Penrose Avenue/Passyunk Avenue and Broad Street/Pattison Avenue
  • San Francisco: International Boulevard (East 14th Street) south of 20th Avenue.

The billboard campaign encourages consumers to visit www.HomeFoodSafety.org to learn how to take proper precautions to avoid food poisoning, including promptly refrigerating leftovers, reheating to proper internal temperature and knowing when leftovers are no longer safe to eat.
