Academy Co-Sponsors 'Future of Food' Conference

The Academy is co-sponsoring a June 14 conference in Washington, D.C., hosted by the Washington Post and Slate.com, on "The Future of Food: Food Security for the 21st Century." Co-sponsoring the event with the Academy is the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy. Academy members and leaders will participate in the conference, which will focus on domestic food security against the backdrop of global food challenges. You can watch the conference live online.

Topics to be addressed by national experts on hunger and food security include food security and ethics, nutrition and technology and sustainability. Photos and updates from the conference will be posted to the Academy's social media outlets including Facebook and Twitter.
