Share Your History of the Academy

In anticipation of the Academy's centennial in 2017, we are getting ready by updating the Academy's history Carry the Flame from 1990 to the present. It's individuals' stories and recollections that breathe meaning and color into capturing an organization's history, and members have a chance to contribute.

Although we can track the major developments of the Association and how these may have influenced the profession, we'd like to hear individual member thoughts on the organization's exciting history since 1990, how you've seen it grow, and by whom you've been mentored or influenced.

We'll review members' short anecdotes and recollections for the project and may publish some during the next few years in the Journal, although we can't promise to use all stories. We will check with members before publishing, and credit the story with your name, location and profession.

If you have a brief story, viewpoint or anecdote you'd like to share, send it to history@eatright.org.
