Interprofessional Education Portal

The Association of American Medical Colleges, as a partner in the Interprofessional Education Collaborative, has been awarded funding by the Josiah Macy Jr. Foundation to launch an interprofessional education portal in support of the IPEC report "Core Competencies for Interprofessional Collaborative Practice." Academy member Cecilia Rokusek, EdD, RD, executive director of education, planning and research at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, serves on the MedEdPORTAL-IPEC Advisory Committee, providing strategic planning and guidance for the initiative.

The initiative is designed to create a national clearinghouse of competency-linked learning resources for interprofessional education and models of team-based or collaborative care.
