New Kids Eat Right Toolkit and Mini-Grant Opportunity Available

A new toolkit promoting the importance of family mealtime is now available from Kids Eat Right. The toolkit, "Family Mealtime. Any Time. Any Place." consists of ready-made presentations, activities and handouts for parents and teens. The toolkit will officially launch and become available to all Kids Eat Right Campaign Volunteers on May 21.

To support the toolkit's use, fifty $200 grants are available. Recipients of the mini-grants agree to give two presentations from the toolkit between May 21 and August 31. Applications are due April 30, and RD mini-grantees will be announced May 21. More information »

The "Family Mealtime. Any Time. Any Place" toolkit is made available by an educational grant from the Alliance for Potato Research and Education. Academy members from the Food and Culinary Professionals, Dietitians in Business and Communications and Pediatric Nutrition dietetic practice groups participated in development of the toolkit.
