ADA Supports the U.S. Department of Labor's Initiative

The Association has provided a confidential list of 5,000 randomly selected members who are eligible to provide input into the U.S. Department of Labor's initiative to create a comprehensive website (O*NET) that describes dietitian and nutritionist occupations within the U.S.

O*NET OnLine provides comprehensive occupational descriptions and data for use by job seekers, workforce development offices, human resources professionals, students, researchers and others. The American Society for Nutrition has also been asked to provide names of members who are eligible; however, since they could not provide a list, ASN is asking members to self-identify through their website and newsletter. Research Triangle Institute is conducting the survey of dietitians and nutritionists and will randomly select less than 100 people to participate in the survey between January 2012 and March 2012. If you are selected, you will receive $40.00 and a framed Certificate of Appreciation from the U.S. Department of Labor. ADA strongly encourages you to make your voice heard by participating in the interview and completing the survey.
