Kids Eat Right Hot Topic Session at FNCE

How best to integrate energy balance concepts and messages in school programs targeted to kids and parents? A Hot Topic session at ADA's Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo will show attendees how.

"Integrating Energy Balance into School and Community Education: Theory, Reality and the Future" will present a new version of the ADA Foundation's signature school-based nutrition and energy balance program with ADAF's nationally recognized physical activity partner Playworks. The program, Energy Balance For Kids with Play (EB4K with Play) provides programming designed to result in knowledge and behavior changes in kids, school wellness environment improvements, and community and parent awareness.

Results from three years of evaluating ADAF's school-based Energy Balance For Kids program will also be released. The session will be on Tuesday, September 27.
