ADA's "Take Your Congressmen to Work" Campaign

Under the leadership of Public Policy Coordinators, state affiliates are planning creative ways to meet with Congressional representatives during the August district work period.

During this period, members of Congress are back home, meeting with constituents. Because of pending budget reductions, it is urgent that ADA members demonstrate to elected policy makers their value and their contributions to the community.

Members are encouraged to invite elected officials to see first-hand the contributions registered dietitians make in a variety of work settings. For more information, contact your Public Policy Coordinator or view these resources.
