ADA's Leadership Institute: "Invaluable ... the Best"

I consider this opportunity at the top of my list when I think of training and motivation in my 30+ year career.
The networking with past, present and future leaders was invaluable.
The best meeting put forth by ADA ... keep it going!

These were just some of the comments from members who attended ADA's eighth annual Leadership Institute, June 9 to 12, in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Three intensive days of interactive workshops and networking sharpened the work, volunteer and individual leadership skills of nearly 250 ADA members who have committed themselves to achieving ADA's mission of empowering members to be the nation's food and nutrition leaders.

The personalized, interactive educational program included a keynote address and workshop on "tribal leadership" led by Dave Logan, co-author of the book of the same name, which is the best-selling paperback book in the country according to the New York Times.

Leadership Institute speakers, including Simon T. Bailey, Robert Harris, Kevin Eikenberry, Juliet Funt and Meagan Johnson, educated and inspired attendees on managing one's career during times of change; leveraging leadership strengths utilizing a personalized strengths deployment inventory; developing "white space" in work and business; and generational team management.

The Leadership Institute represents ADA's commitment to working with members to develop a leadership mindset for innovation, adaptability, empowerment and risk taking.
