Two Members Featured on White House Website

ADA members Garrett Berdan, RD, of Bend, Ore., and Cyndie Story, PhD, RD, CC, of Scottsville, Ky., were recently named Champions of Change by the White House for their work with school nutrition programs. They were invited to a recent meeting at the White House for a round table discussion about the Chefs Move to Schools program, part of First Lady Michelle Obama's Let's Move! initiative.

Mr. Berdan and Ms. Story are registered dietitians and chefs who are passionate about nourishing school children and inspiring healthy eating for life. Their expertise in food and nutrition has influenced school menus across the United States.
