"Let's Move Salad Bars 2 Schools"

The National Fruit and Vegetable Alliance, of which ADA is a member, reported recently on its major undertaking, "Let's Move Salad Bars 2 Schools." This project helps extend efforts of ADA's School Nutrition Services DPG, providing grants to schools to give students access to healthy fruit and vegetables.

The NFVA reported on "Let's Move Salad Bars 2 Schools" at the 20th annual meeting of the Produce for Better Health Foundation. Headed by ADA member Elizabeth E. Pivonka, RD, the PBH is a partnership of growers and processors. Known for the successful More Matters programs, PBH is committed to finding ways for Americans to enjoy fruits and vegetables.
