New: ADA eMentoring System Seeks Mentors

Becoming a mentor is one of the most rewarding ways to give to, and get something back from, the dietetics profession. And mentoring couldn't be easier with ADA's new eMentoring system.

By sharing knowledge and expertise gained through years of experience, serving as a role model is a personally rewarding experience for the mentor. It also helps prepare future practitioners and creates the best possible future for the dietetics profession.

ADA's new eMentoring program will enable members to find optimal matches based on qualifications such as geographic location, years of experience and practice area. The system will also provide comprehensive e-mentoring tools to enhance online communication between mentors and mentees.

This new online system is now available to mentors and will begin accepting applications from mentees on June 1.

Members with three or more years of experience in dietetics are urged to visit ADA eMentoring and register as a mentor.
