Member Named University of Alabama President

Academy member Judith L. Bonner, PhD, MS, RD, recently was named the president of the University of Alabama. Ms. Bonner, an Academy member since 1970, is the first woman to hold the position of permanent president in the university's 183-year history. She previously served as the university's provost and interim president.
