Kids Eat Right Campaign Volunteers Win Free Memberships

ADA members Cynthia A. Gates, RD, from Sioux City, Iowa, and Kristen A. Herron, RD, from Spokane, Wash., were randomly selected from Kids Eat Right Campaign Volunteers who completed ADA's online Certificate of Training in Childhood Obesity Prevention by the end of May and received free ADA memberships. This award is sponsored by ADA Partner: National Dairy Council.

Foundation Symposiums Offer Educational Opportunities and CPE Credit

The ADA Foundation will host two educational symposiums at ADA's 2011 Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo: "The Emerging Role of Lutein Across the Life Span" and "The Family Meal: Reclaiming the Dinner Table." Earn an additional 2 CPE hours by attending these sessions. A $10 registration fee/donation to the Foundation is requested.
