Prevention Advocacy Continues

ADA staff has been working on Capitol Hill with key Congressional partners to discuss the cost-savings importance of the Prevention Fund within the 2010 Affordable Care Act. ADA recently met with Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R.-Tenn.), a member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, to ask for her support of the preservation of the fund.

Farm Bill and Agriculture Appropriations

Farm Bill issues are beginning to receive more national attention, and the Senate Agriculture Committee will hold a town hall Farm Bill hearing August 25 in Wichita, Kan.
