Dr. Patricia Hinton Walker recently presented to the Nutrition Informatics Committee and others who have participated in the development of informatics at ADA. While the TIGER Initiative was started by the nursing community—in preparation for the adoption of electronic health records, the focus now is on all areas of health care as it relates to informatics.
