Small Household Shopping

If your family is small, you can still take advantage of shopping tips to save you money at the supermarket or grocery store. Look for foods sold as single servings, e.g. yogurt and juice. For smaller amounts of rice, pasta and spices, shop the bulk bins. Ask the store’s butcher or produce manager for a smaller amount of prepackaged fresh meat, poultry or produce. They usually can repackage the food.
