Make It Your Own Kids love control and creativity. Any way that you can include them in the meal planning or preparing will increase the likelihood of a successful dinner. The best way is to have kids make their own meals. From the classic make your own pizza; to make your own sushi or make your own salad, the possibilities are endless. To help your kids make their own tacos, make all the toppings/fillings ahead such as rice, beans, meat, low-fat shredded cheese, peppers and onions, spinach, guacamole and salsa. Then the kids can take their tortilla, fill it with the ingredients they like and heat it for a few seconds in the microwave. I guarantee your kids will eat those make it your own tacos without a fuss.
