Hot Topics
In order for a topic to be considered for a response it must meet the following criteria:
- Has significant effect on consumer health
- Received 10 requests from members in a one month period (Requests to Knowledge Center, Issues Management, etc.)
- Is valuable to ADA and membership
- Is newsworthy with consideration to risks/benefits of a public response
- Will clarify controversy (myth or truth)
The Association Positions Committee (APC), the committee that oversees the position development process, along with ADA staff is overseeing the Hot Topics process. Questions/comments may be sent to ppapers@eatright.org
