Bright Futures
Initiated by the Maternal and Child Health Bureau (MCHB), Bright Futures is dedicated to the principle that every child deserves to be healthy, and that optimal health involves a trusting relationship between the health professional, the child, the family and the community.
Commission on Cancer
A consortium of professional organizations dedicated to improving survival and quality of life for cancer patients through standard-setting, prevention, research, education and the monitoring of comprehensive quality care.
Food and Nutrition Science Alliance — FANSA
A partnership of six professional scientific societies: Institute of Food Technologists, American Society for Nutrition, American College of Nutrition, Society for Nutrition Education, American Society for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition and ADA.
Female Athlete Triad Coalition
Developed from a collaborative desire to support cultures and public policy that promote healthy athletic environments, effect change in national and international governing bodies, eliminate inappropriate dietary recommendations for female athletes and provide education about the Triad.
National Diabetes Education Program
A partnership of the National Institutes of Health, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and more than 200 public and private organizations working together to reduce the morbidity and mortality associated with diabetes.
United States Breastfeeding Committee
A collaborative partnership of organizations with the mission to improve the Nation’s health by working collaboratively to protect, promote and support breastfeeding.
