American Dietetic Association to co-host XIV International Congress of Dietetics May 28-31, 2004, in Chicago

WHAT: The XIV International Congress of Dietetics will bring together 5,000 food and nutrition health practitioners, educators, researchers and policy makers from more than 30 countries to address global perspectives toward building healthy communities, ensuring food security, nutrition strategies for new epidemics and related topics.

WHO: The Congress is co-hosted by the American Dietetic Association and Dietitians of Canada. It is the first International Congress of Dietetics to be held in North America in 20 years.

WHEN: May 28 - 31, 2004

WHY: As food and nutrition issues increasingly take on global dimensions, dietetics professionals must share expertise, opportunities and successes in meeting worldwide challenges.

WHERE: Chicago, Ill.
