CHICAGO -- As the field of food and nutrition expands, the American Dietetic Association responds by launching a new Web site feature for employers and health professionals.

The new feature at www.eatright.org will cater to the growing needs of industry as well as individuals looking for the career best suited for their skills. At ADA's CareerLink employers will handle recruitment activities across the entire network, manage job postings and responses and automatically gain access to posted resumes for the professional positions available in their company.

"This is an extraordinary opportunity for employers to link directly to the most qualified nutrition and health professionals for every avenue of employment," says registered dietitian Susan Borra, president of the American Dietetic Association. "We are thrilled to offer this service to our members because it supports the dietetics profession, the Association and its mission."

The new service is free for ADA members and will provide a hyperlink directing members to all new jobs added since they last visited the site.

Registered dietitians, dietetic technicians, registered, and food service professionals will have the opportunity to search ADA's CareerLink database, respond to job openings and post their resumes.

With nearly 70,000 members, the Chicago-based American Dietetic Association is the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. ADA serves the public by promoting optimal nutrition, health and well-being.
