American Dietetic Association’s New Book, Cooking Healthy Across America, Draws on Regional History, Traditions to Savor Pleasures of the Nation’s Tables

CHICAGO - Cooking Healthy Across America, the newly published cookbook from the American Dietetic Association, features regional traditions and unique flavors in more than 350 tasty and healthy recipes while leading readers on a culinary tour across the nation.

Recipes for both novices and professionals come from the kitchens of more than 1,500 of the nation’s top food and nutrition and experts. Members of the American Dietetic Association, the country’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals, volunteered to provide recipes, culinary insights and nutritional analysis.

Recipes represent virtually every region of the United States, including:
