American Dietetic Association Names Sara Moser Vice President for Marketing, Communications and Corporate Relations

CHICAGO - Health-care marketing executive Sara Moser has been named vice president for marketing, communications and corporate relations at the American Dietetic Association, the nation’s largest organization of food and nutrition professionals.

“Sara’s responsibilities will include developing and overseeing segmentation strategies for all strategic marketing, sales and sponsorship opportunities throughout the Association and increasing revenues through prudent involvement in appropriate corporate collaborative relationships,” said ADA Chief Executive Officer Ronald S. Moen. Moser will oversee ADA’s marketing, Knowledge Center and public relations teams.

Prior to coming to ADA, Moser had been vice president of business development at Advocate Health Care, based in Oak Brook, Ill., where she was responsible for developing and implementing the strategic plan of Advocate’s network of health centers. At Advocate, Moser led the development and management of community relations programs as well as market research, advertising, public relations and internal communications. She served on the board of directors of the Women Health Executives Network in Chicago, including serving as president.

Previously, Moser was president of the Moser Strategy Group, a marketing consulting firm. She also worked as assistant regional director of the American Hospital Association and as corporate director of physician services for Horizon Mental Health Management.

Moser is a graduate of the University of North Texas. She earned a master’s degree in marketing communications from Roosevelt University.
