What is the Issues Management Committee?

The Issues Management Committee consists of no more than five members of the Association and includes the Speaker-elect. The Issues Management Committee serves to provide education, direction and oversight to the issues management process.

Issues Management Committee Responsibilities

  • Provide education to members and delegates regarding the issues management process
  • Solicit issues on a regular basis from members via delegates, the ADA members-only Web site and other ADA publications
  • Review issues submitted and encourage delegate discussion via the HOD Community of Interest (HOD CoI) as appropriate
  • Forward issues to the appropriate organizational units for response and additional action.
