Building Blocks for Pediatric Practice
The program goals are to enhance your skills in providing medical nutrition therapy and to increase your knowledge of a number of pediatric nutrition issues. Some key issues include: implementing the Nutrition Care Process in a variety of Pediatric settings; reviewing the updated recommendations on childhood overweight with strategies and tools for practice; exciting new information and updates on vitamin D, polyunsaturated fatty acids, pre- and probiotics, and food allergies along with organic foods; nutrition care of the premature infant in the NICU and the communtiy; and support of breastfeeding; influence of the media and advertising on children and teens; and evaluating our nutrition interventions to impove practice.
12 CPEUs will be offered.

The last day to register online will be March 31, 2008. After this date, registrations will be accepted on-site, space permitting. Registration fee is non-refundable unless a written request is sent to PNPG and is postmarked by March 10, 2008. A $50 administrative fee will be charged to process all refunds.
