This workshop is designed to educate the nutrition professional of the methods that are available to optimize gut function. A discussion will elaborate upon pertinent physiology and core clinical imbalances, nutrition therapy including a discussion of herbal products, functional foods and diet therapies and an introduction to nutritional genomics as it relates to detoxification, risk of gut related cancers and gluten intolerance.
