Often the key to treating obesity/overweight in children and adolescents is an educational process involving the whole family. Take a look at two successful programs that are geared to family-oriented activities and interventions. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify eight dietary factors associated with obesity.
  • Discuss dietary factors commonly believed to be associated with obesity, but are not.
  • Plan obesity interventions using the ecological framework.
  • Recommend interventions for families with overweight children.
