Often the key to treating obesity/overweight in children and adolescents is an educational process involving the whole family. Take a look at two successful programs that are geared to family-oriented activities and interventions.

Learning Objectives:

Identify eight dietary factors associated with obesity.
Discuss dietary factors commonly believed to be associated with obesity, but are not.
Plan obesity interventions using the ecological framework.
Recommend interventions for families with overweight children.
