Members of Management in Food and Nutrition Systems are managers of food, nutrition and other services who work in a variety of settings: healthcare, college and university, corrections, long term care, hospitality, business, retail, industry and education. We combine management expertise with knowledge and skills in:

  • Food science and safety
  • Food service systems
  • Financial accountability
  • Nutrition in health and disease
  • Quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Directing and integrating food and nutrition services

Through menus and services we are the link between our customers and their health and nutrition.  The objectives of MFNS are to:

  • Provide opportunities for networking and continuing professional education
  • Share information nationally and regionally
  • Proactively influence legislation and regulatory agency requirements
  • Provide tangible membership benefits
  • Identify and recognize member achievements
  • Improve the visibility of the management and dietetic practitioner
  • Seek membership involvement in proposals and research relating to practice
