Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine (DIFM) is a specialty practice group of members that promotes the integration of traditional nutrition therapies with evidence-based alternatives through education, research and practice. DIFM DPG RD’s have interests and skills in functional and integrative medicine, nutritional genomics, and whole foods and dietary supplements and utilize a broad range of holistic and therapeutic modalities in the nutrition care process. DIFM DPG leadership strives to empower RD’s and DTR’s to be a trusted resource in integrative and functional medical nutrition therapy. Newsletter Name and Unique Features

DIFM's newsletter, Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine, is designed to improve the member's understanding of integrative and functional nutrition therapy and provides articles and clinician practice pearls on how to incorporate this information into practice. The content provided assists the subscriber in answering questions that patients/clients and the public have regarding the use of functional and integrative therapies. Hence, it helps ensure that consumers receive accurate and timely information on these cutting-edge topics of interest.

Continuing education articles are offered two times yearly. Published quarterly and free to members. Subscriptions are available for $35/year for ADA-non-eligible persons. Back issues are available for $10/issue or four for $35 (DIFM DPG members and ADA-non-eligible members). For international orders, add $5 shipping and handling per subscription and for each back issue order of one to four issues. For five or more issues, it is $5 plus $1.50 for each additional issue.
