How Long is Initial or Continued Accreditation Granted and What are the Requirements During this Period?

Initial or continued accreditation is granted for 10 years. During this period, a program maintains accreditation by ongoing monitoring of outcomes assessment and goal achievement, preparation of the program assessment report at the five-year interval of the ten-year accreditation period, submission of an annual report, payment of annual accreditation maintenance fees. At the end of the ten-year accreditation period, if the program wants to continue accreditation, it must submit eligibility and self-study applications and host a site visit.
