FNCE Excursions
The FNCE Excursions listed below require a seperate ticket for admission and are not included in the meeting registration fees. Excursions are limited and based on first-come, first served basis. All Excursions are limited to 50 people and include a light lunch.
Kendall College: Recipe for Combining Culinary and Nutrition
12:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
CPE Level: Level I CPE Credit: 1.5 hours LNC: 8060, 8100, 6060
Presenting: Renee Zonka, MBA, CEC, RD, CHE
This combination tour and cooking demo will showcase Kendall College, recognized for its culinary program which is now on the cutting edge of combining its traditional program with nutrition and science. Attendees will also see a cooking demo and learn about the taste profile of umami and its play in food combination. This complex taste profile is now recognized as the fifth taste.
