Accreditation Process 2002 ERAS

Accreditation Process 2002 ERAS

The Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education has established policies and procedures for application, review and maintenance of all levels of accreditation: candidacy, initial and continued accreditation.
Applications for candidacy, initial and continued accreditation must address the Eligibility Requirements and Accreditation Standards in effect at the time each application is submitted. The 2002 ERAS are available here and will be in effect until February 28, 2009.
The Policy & Procedure Handbook is available here in Adobe Acrobat's Portable Document Format only. The Handbook is not available for purchase in a printed (book) format.
Application cover pages are specific to each program type and must be submitted with the eligibility and self-study applications and with the five-year Program Assessment Report to maintain accreditation.
The following guidelines should be used by programs to notify CADE of any major changes in the program for review and approval prior to implementation to maintain accreditation.
Fees are set by the CADE board to support all components of the process. The current fee schedule is available here.
