Hot Topics

In order for a topic to be considered for a response it must meet the following criteria:

  1. Has significant effect on consumer health
  2. Received 10 requests from members in a one month period (Requests to Knowledge Center, Issues Management, etc.)
  3. Is valuable to ADA and membership
  4. Is newsworthy with consideration to risks/benefits of a public response
  5. Will clarify controversy (myth or truth)

The Association Positions Committee (APC), the committee that oversees the position development process, along with ADA staff is overseeing the Hot Topics process. Questions/comments may be sent to ppapers@eatright.org
