House of Delegates

The Fall 2008 House of Delegates Meeting will convene on October 24 and 25, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois at the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

Marsha Schofield, MS, RD, LD, Speaker, will preside over the meeting, which is designed to govern the profession of dietetics. Topics for discussion are: "Informatics," and "Genomics." In addition, the session "Orientation to a HOD Meeting" will be presented to all new delegates on Thursday, October 23 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Central)

All affiliate presidents, presidents-elect, DPG chairs and chairs-elect are invited to attend and participate in the HOD Meeting. ADA members are welcome to participate in the meeting. Anyone interested in participating in the meeting must pre-register by Thursday, October 16, 2008 with the Governance Staff by sending an email to HOD@eatright.org. Pre-registration ensures that all meeting participants will receive all of the necessary pre-meeting materials in advance, as well as the on-arrival documents.
