Substantially Equivalent International Program in Dietetics (ITC)

Shown below is an international program in dietetics that has been granted Substantial Equivalency.

Substantial Equivalency is granted to dietetics programs located in colleges or universities outside the US and its territories based on review of an eligibility application, self-study and site visit by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education (CADE). Substantial Equivalency recognizes that the program as reviewed is comparable in content and experience to a US based program meeting the CADE accreditation standards.

Programs granted substantial equivalency provide the required dietetics coursework and at least 900 hours of supervised practice within an academic program leading to a bachelor’s or graduate degree. Graduates of Substantially Equivalent Programs who are verified by the program director are eligible to write the Commission on Dietetic Registration examination for dietitians in the US.
