LAHIDAN MIG Platicas Webinar
Platicas Latinas is a webinar series aimed at increasing confidence and competency when working with the Latino population through increased cultural awareness and cultural sensitivity. These webinars are developed by LAHIDAN members for Academy and LAHIDAN members and offer continuing professional education units (CPEUs).
The webinars are aimed at two different audiences: 1) Beginner Level Spanish includes a series of four webinars that aim to provide basic level Spanish for participants with limited or no Spanish fluency; and 2) Cultural Competency webinars aim to increase cultural competency awareness by providing an in-depth look at Latino culture.
