Did you know peaches have been grown since prehistoric times and were first cultivated in China? Now, peaches are easily accessible and available almost all year, with the season dictating the variety.

Choose peaches with fuzzy skins that are firm but yield to gentle pressure. Always avoid peaches that show signs of decay, spoilage or mold. Try peaches as a marinade, in your salsa or in a fruit salad.
